In a demonstration of TMAT's commitment to the community and social responsibility, the association made donations through local food banks on July 26, 2023 to support underprivileged groups in Richmond Hill City and North York City.
The donation activity was jointly attended by TMAT's president, board members, and enthusiastic members who personally handed over supplies to local food bank volunteers. Through this tangible action, TMAT hopes to highlight the contributions of the Taiwanese immigrant community to Canadian society — and to encourage members to continue caring for the most vulnerable among us.
