On February 10, 2022, TMAT held the opening ceremony of its new clubhouse — a historic milestone since the association's founding in 1995.
Gratitude goes to former President Marie Chang, who established the Clubhouse Fund during her term, and to every president that followed. Thanks to the continued support of seniors and past presidents, and under the dedicated work of the 27th-term board, TMAT acquired its very first owned clubhouse and completed the move into its new home in Richmond Hill.
The clubhouse is located within Metropolitan Square — long regarded as the spiritual home of the Taiwanese diaspora in Toronto — and enjoys excellent transportation and a vibrant cultural environment, providing the ideal base for TMAT's operations and member services. TMAT will continue, with renewed energy, to champion its three-fold mission and advance Taiwan-Canada economic and cultural exchange.
